After work a few friends and I were looking for a nice place to have a few drinks and shoot some pool. So we came across Fantasy Island on Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles. There is a 10 dollar cover charge for men and free for women. When you walk into the club the bar is directly in front of you with the main stage to the left and pool tables to your right. The bar is shaped like an “L” with a bartender on each side. The bar has a wide selection of beers and hard liquors to satisfy your thirst. Beers on the tap include Hefeweizen, Guinness, Budweiser, and some others that escape my mind right now. As for the hard liquors the selection is excellent. There’s Patron, Gray Goose, Jack, and tons more. The service at the bar was fast, there was never a point where I got frustrated at the bartender for ignoring me. The area with the pool tables was great. There was three tables each one dollar to play a game. They even had two arcade games for those of you who are into Pac man. There were stools surrounding the walls of that area and high tables to place your drinks. Another plus is that the main stage is still visible from back there so you don’t loose your view. After having some drinks and playing a few games of pool I was ready for a show in the front row. A buddy and I sat down in the table right in front of the main stage. The main stage is kind of small, there is only one poll in the middle and not many girls used it much. Poll work is key to my reviews and this bikini bar didn’t have any. The music was good but very repetitive not sure if the dancers picked their own music or if it was the DJ’s choice. To the back left of us was a small squared stage with polls on each corner. I guess it isn’t mandatory for girls to be on that stage because I only saw one girls go on it after she got off the main stage, this gave her some more points in my book. All in the entire club is OK. The variety of dancer’s wasn’t wide, but they did look nice. I loved the pool table area and the selection at the bar. Its a good place to stop by after work have a drink and play a game of pool. Perhaps i went at a bad time or day maybe you could give me your feedback and change my perception of Fantasy Island because as of now it’s not too great. Reviews for Fantasy IslandUser Reviews: 1
